Israel toma el control del lado palestino del paso fronterizo de Rafah

La Radio del Ejército de Israel ha informado este martes que las fuerzas israelíes han tomado el control del lado palestino del cruce de Rafah, que limita con Egipto en el sur de Gaza. Las fuerzas armadas israelíes aseguran que «publicará una declaración en breve». Además, Israel bombardea este martes de madrugada con intensidad la ciudad de Rafah para acentuar la «presión» sobre Hamás en la negociación de una propuesta de tregua que recibió la luz verde del movimiento islamista palestino. La defensa civil en la Franja de Gaza, gobernada por Hamás, informó de «numerosas muertes» en la noche en esta superpoblada ciudad en la frontera con Egipto, que acoge 1,2 millones de personas, en su mayoría desplazadas por la guerra.
